Lisa Kuhn

 

I founded Impact on Point to help organizations become more effective in achieving impact. After more than 20 years of leading and advising social impact organizations, I've developed a deep understanding of what it takes to keep organizations on track to deliver the impact they desire to achieve. 

 

I have spent most of my career working with double and triple bottom line organizations wrestling with the challenge of balancing social and environmental impact with financial sustainability. I believe that both non-profit organizations and for-profit social businesses can deliver high quality and impactful products, services and programs sustainably and at scale.

My approach is informed by my experience as a board member, executive director, program leader, research, trainer and advisor to various social impact organizations. I take a people-centered approach to organizational change and apply a gender lens to all my work. I use participatory methods to engage stakeholders ranging from boards to front line service workers to beneficiaries and customers to clarify the mission, define the strategy and operationalize it.
